Winnetka, Ill. - Local residents, friends, and children of all ages are invited to New Trier High School's 24th Annual Winter Carnival, during which the entire school will transform into a carnival ground with activities, prizes, food, and much more. The event is hosted by the New Trier Senior Class and benefits their Habitat for Humanity project, which involves building homes for local, underserved families through physical labor and fundraising.

The family-friendly opportunity to support a good cause will take place on Friday, Feb. 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Winnetka Campus, 385 Winnetka Avenue. Admission at the main entrance is free and activity tickets are $1 each. Parking is free, and is available in the lots on the east side of the school as well as in any space marked "New Trier High School" in the Indian Hill lot adjacent to the Metra lot at Winnetka Avenue and Green Bay Road.
