5K Run to Remember... Sunday, April 14, 2013

In Memory..

Beginning in 2001 the New Trier Wellness Week featured a 5K Rundezvous focusing on health and wellness for the community and the school.  Then 2003 through 2012 the Rundezvous became the Run to Remember in memory of the three New Trier graduates who perished in the Chicago porch collapse.  Now in 2013 we are again kicking off our Wellness Week with the 5K run.  This year, we will continue to remember the memory of the three New Trier grads, but we will also be honoring Principal Jan Borja who passed away last year after a long illness.  Jan was an avid supporter and participant of this event from its inception in 2001.  All proceeds from the fun run/walk will go to the scholarship funds and charities in memory of Jan and the graduates.

Registration

There are 3 ways to pre-register for the Run to Remember:

1. Register Online

Pick up your t-shirt and bib the day of the race.
Cost:  $10 per Student
           $15 per Adult
This includes a short sleeved t-shirt while supplies last. 

2. Register In-Person:

Register in-person and pick up your t-shirt and bib at:

New Trier High School
Northfield Campus - Room F111
7 Happ Road, Northfield

March 1 - March 22, 2013
April 1 - April 10, 2013
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

3. Register through the mail:

Complete the registration form and mail it with payment to:

New Trier High School - Northfield Campus
Attention: Jennifer Tricoli
7 Happ Road Northfield, IL 60093

All Check/Money Order should be made out to New Trier High School.
Pick up your t-shirt and bib race day.

 

Race Day Registration

You may register the day of the race 5K Fun Run/Walk Adult - $20 5K Fun Run/Walk Student - $15
NOTE: T-Shirts available for race day registration while supplies last.

Schedule of Events

  • 7:00 a.m. Registration/T-Shirt Pick-up begins
  • 7:50 a.m. Registration closes
  • 7:55 a.m. Opening Ceremony
  • 8:00 a.m. 5K Fun Run begins
  • 8:05 a.m. 5K Fun Walk begins
  • 9:00 a.m. Annoucement of Fastest Runners

Free parking is available across the street from the New Trier High School Football Stadium/Race Entrance.
