Driver Education Summer School 2012 Calendar Driver Education ...................................................................................................5 elective credit The Driver Education program consists of three phases of instruction: theory (classroom), behind-the-wheel, and simulator. Students learn about traffic laws and enforcement, driving skills, and the responsibilities of vehicle ownership.
The behind-the-wheel portion develops students’ basic driving skills, techniques, and decision-making abilities while driving. All students must be at least 15 years old to be enrolled in Driver Education. 2012-2013 Enrollment cut-off dates: Semester 1 – Birthday on or before 8/1/1997
