Teaching and Learning at New Trier

New Trier has a comprehensive curriculum and instruction program, supporting the work of teachers in classrooms, and an extensive student services program that helps all students succeed in class. Please click here to read reports about academic and social-emotional support systems available for all students, transition programs (to high school, to the Winnetka Campus, and to college), teacher leaders, and professional development opportunities for New Trier teachers.

Student Profile

A profile of the class of 2011 can be found below, including test scores, service activities, athletic/activities/performing arts participation, and other relevant information. The Profile breaks out student performance at all levels of coursework, showing that students tend to take a mix of course levels during their time at New Trier (with exceedingly few students in all 4-level or all 2-level classes), and that students at all levels outperform their high school peers on measures such as the ACT.
