.15 credit minor (P/Au)Combines instruction and practice of individual skills. Team play and competitive game situations stressed. Taught at the Winnetka campus by New Trier Coaches. Tuition includes Brine soccer ball and a game/practice t-shirt. Additional League fees if you choose to play in the Wednesday night league (see information below). Wednesday Night League
The Wednesday Night Girls’ Soccer League is a great way for players to use some of the skills that they are working on through the summer school program. It is also a chance to compete against some other schools, play with some players that you will play with next spring and it is also a chance to have some fun.
Teams will play two shortened games each Wednesday night (40 minute games). These are not informal scrimmages, there will be referees and coaches. All games will be at New Trier West or Duke Childes field. There will be three teams scheduled to play a round robin. The tentative times for the games will be 6:00 pm, 6:50 pm, and/or 7:40 pm. If you decide that you want to take part in this opportunity it is important that you try to be at as many of the games as possible. We want to have a great showing to get you some good playing time against some of the local teams.
