  • Spring Music Concerts

New Trier has a number of upcoming Music concerts that will stream live. Here is the schedule and link to watch our talented students!.

  • Dance Theater New Trier
Dance Theater New Trier will present its Spring Concert as a live-stream performance on April 29, 2021 at 7:00pm. This concert will include six original works by student choreographers - Madeline Brown, Ella Carlson, Ashley Chow, Alexa Comess, Katie Kelly, Evie Halston, Bridget Hogan, Bella Passeri and Christina Waltman. Student lighting designers, Ethan Hoffman and Ally Kleinmann have created beautiful  atmospheres to bring these dances to life.  Also on the program is a professional guest artist work for eight students, choreographed by 2014 alum, Laura David.  In conjunction with her student dance, Laura will be performing a special duet with 2015 alum, Jenny Oelerich.  Please join us for an evening of creative, whimsical and inventive dance performances. The Music, Theatre, and Dance Division faculty and staff have been hard at work devising creative options to highlight and share student work in the 2020-21 school year. Keep abreast of emerging concert and performance streaming dates by checking this webpage regularly.
  • CAP extension
A special note about the CAP program: We still believe the CAP program is a valuable experience, but the program is on hold until after the 2020-2021 school year.

New Trier's arts program is a cornerstone of the school's whole-child approach to learning and exploring. The Performing Arts Division is committed to offering students the opportunity to participate in extracurricular dance, music, theatre, and fine arts performances and events to the greatest extent possible during the 2020-2021 school year regardless of whether students are learning in school, at home, or a combination of both. We have been working on creative solutions to address any of these scenarios and to keep students connected. Please refer to this page throughout the school year for the most updated information about performances, rehearsals, and other issues that may need to be fluid given the changing circumstances of state health guidance.

PLEASE NOTE: If you participating in an extra-curricular performing arts activity on a Saturday, please note that you must complete the Ruvna form and enter the building prior to 1:00 PM. You can enter the Winnetka Campus via the Trevian Way door and the Northfield Campus via the B door.
