Ruvna Daily Health Screener - Fall Sports & Contact Days
Each morning, including Saturday, parents/guardians will receive an email and cellular text message at 5:20 a.m. with a unique link to answer a few brief health screener questions for your student(s). The parent/guardian of any student participating in contact days must fill out this screener prior to their student arriving to practice and/or competition. The Athletic Department will no longer require or provide an additional health screening form.

If the parent answers "no" to all the screener questions, they will receive a QR code that they can text or email to their child.  The QR code is unique for that student for that date. They will also see a note that reads: "You are cleared to participate in extracurriculars today."

Students participating in outdoor practices/competitions/contact days will need to present their QR code for scanning to their respective coach prior to participating in activities.  Students participating in indoor practices/competitions/contact days will present their QR code for scanning to New Trier security at one of our designated entrances (Winnetka - N16, E26, Northfield - D5, D building vestibule, B building vestibule).  Students arriving to campus without a QR code will not be permitted to participate unless a parent is contacted and completes the RUVNA health screener form.  Students are not allowed to complete the RUVNA health screener.

If the student has any symptoms on the list or has answered yes to any of the questions, the screen will display these instructions:, "One of your symptom(s) or responses has been identified by the Cook County Department of Health as potentially related to Covid-19.  If you are a student-athlete please contact Dale Grooms at 847-784-2297."
