Dance Team

Varsity Dance Team
Varsity dancers are expected to demonstrate advanced technical ability and athleticism. A clean strong headspring, powerful kip-up, solid double turn, and precise kickline technique are required. Dancers should also show strong performance quality and the potential to acquire and master new advanced skills.

Junior Varsity (JV) Dance Team
JV dancers should have a solid foundation in dance technique with developing strength and control. A working kip-up, clean double turn progressing kickline technique, and a headspring are preferred. Dancers should demonstrate growth potential and a commitment to advancing their skills.

JV 2 Dance Team
JV 2 dancers are developing strength and foundational technique. Clean single turns 
 (double turns preferred) beginner kip-up progressions, and introductory kickline work are the focus. A developing headspring is required and exposure to acro elements are encouraged.  Emphasis is placed on memory, performance, potential, effort, and coachability.
