Girls Bowling
Girls Bowling Tryouts will begin on 11/17/2025
Informational Meetings will be held on both campuses
Northfield - Frosh: Wednesday, October 22, 2025 - 3:20pm - Room C221
Winnetka - Sops, Jrs, Srs: Thursday, October 23, 2025 - 3:40pm - Room 120
Tryouts will run for three days. All interested students are encouraged to attend. We understand that most new bowlers have limited or no experience. We strive to keep as many bowlers as possible and focus on helping everyone grow throughout the season.
Equipment is provided free of charge.
Evaluation Criteria: skill level, coachability, attitude and effort.
Transportation to Tryouts:
Freshmen (Northfield campus):
Take the white New Trier shuttle bus located in front of the E-building (Northfield campus) by the flagpole off Happ Road. The bus goes directly to the lanes.
Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors (Winnetka campus):
Take the yellow shuttle bus, it departs from Winnetka Ave by the tennis courts.
Return Bus: A return bus will stop at both the Northfield and Winnetka campuses after tryouts.
Coaches and returning team members will be at the lanes to greet and guide you when you arrive.

Ready to join? All bowlers need to register before bowling. All registration is done on PowerSchool now. Please do this ASAP!
- Note, if you are not sure how to register using PowerSchool, directions are on the registration page.
BOWLING is an IHSA sanctioned varsity sport (not a club). We compete!
- We are looking for hard-working, high-character students who love to have fun and compete.
- NO experience is necessary.
- Our varsity team has finished first in the Central Suburban League 5 out of the last 6 seasons!
- Our 2021-22 varsity squad finished 15th overall in the IHSA state tournament... Our 2024-25 finished 23rd! (out of over 200 teams in the state). None of these bowlers had prior experience!
- There are over 200 college programs with scholarships available.
- If you don't have a winter sport, this might be the right opportunity for you!
