  • Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
    Adapted by Simon Stephens from the book by Mark Haddon, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is about a boy called Christopher, his remarkable brain, and his investigation that begins with a murdered dog and ends with an even bigger mystery.   The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is available on-demand streaming from Friday, April 30 at 7:00pm to Monday, May 3 at 6:59pm.   • 38th Annual NT Jazz Festival
    The 38th Annual New Trier Jazz Festival will be in a virtual format this year. The festival will feature two performances recorded specifically for the event. Watch here .
    The Music, Theatre, and Dance Division faculty and staff have been hard at work devising creative options to highlight and share student work in the 2020-21 school year. Keep abreast of emerging concert and performance streaming dates by checking this webpage regularly.

    A special note about the CAP program: We still believe the CAP program is a valuable experience, but the program is on hold until after the 2020-2021 school year.
  • Private Music Lesson Applications Now Available!

    Our music department offers private music lessons in voice (including jazz), bassoon, cello, clarinet, euphonium, flute, French horn, guitar, piano, percussion, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, viola, violin. No experience necessary. Lessons are currently conducted virtually by our exceptional team of  private music teachers . Lesson fees are $33 for half an hour. Watch all Music Department concerts live at

All New Trier Music Department concerts are broadcast live on NTTV. Comcast Cable broadcasts NTTV on channel 18 for homes in Winnetka, Glencoe, and Kenilworth, and on channel 16 in Wilmette and Northfield. U-Verse subscribers can find NTTV on channel 99. All concerts are also broadcast as a live web-stream at . Most concerts are re-broadcast on NTTV and the web-stream 15-20 minutes after the conclusion of the concert. Many concerts are broadcast live on WNTH Radio (88.1). Times, dates, and venues are subject to change.
