How the IEP Process Supports the Post-Secondary Transition

This was a presentation for parents of students with an IEP. New Trier’s  Special Education and Post High School Counseling teams provided an overview of services under an IEP, defined roles and resources, and suggested some strategies to help you and your child successfully navigate your time at Winnetka Campus. They also shared how they work with students to identify post-secondary options/career paths and help with the process of applying for academic accommodations at college.
