Dear Class of 2029 Parent or Guardian,
Welcome back to New Trier and to an exciting new chapter in your high school journey!
As Co-Chairs of the New Trier Parent Association Class of 2029 Board, we are thrilled to welcome our Sophomore students and families to the Winnetka Campus for the 2026– 2027 school year. The transition from the Northfield Campus to Winnetka is an important milestone—one that brings new opportunities, new experiences, new friendships, and an even greater sense of connection to the New Trier community.
Sophomore year is a time to explore, grow, and find your place. The Winnetka Campus may feel bigger and different at first, but before long, its hallways, traditions, activities, and gathering places will begin to feel like home. We encourage our students to embrace this next step with confidence and curiosity. Get involved, try something new, support your classmates, and take advantage of all that New Trier has to offer.
We encourage our Class of 2029 families to get connected and stay involved. Attend a concert, performance, or student event. Cheer alongside other New Trier families at a game. Join us for parent social activities and NTPA events. Celebrate our students’ accomplishments—not only your own child’s, but those of their classmates and friends. These shared experiences help us build relationships and connect with the values, traditions, and spirit that make New Trier such a special community.
And please know that you are not navigating this journey alone. Whether you have a question, need help finding a resource, want to become more involved, or simply want to connect with other New Trier families, we hope you will feel comfortable reaching out to us throughout the year.
Welcome to Winnetka, Class of 2029! We wish every student and family an amazing start to the 2026–2027 school year, and a year filled with friendship, growth, discovery, and plenty of New Trier pride.
