Trevian Virtual Statewide Invitational 2021
Although we are unable to compete in an official IHSA Girls' Bowling tournament this year, the New Trier Girls' Bowling program is proud to announce the Trevian Virtual Statewide Invitational to be held on March 13, 2021, the one-year anniversary of the closing of New Trier and many other high schools at the onset of the pandemic. We know that this will not be "the same" as an official IHSA State Series tournament, but - especially for the Class of 2021 - we believe that a state-wide culminating event provides teams the opportunity to measure their progress and offers our bowlers, their families, and coaches a little something extra to look forward to. All girls' teams from high schools throughout Illinois are welcome to participate in this 6-game event. This includes individual bowlers and a wheelchair division. Like any other tournament, there will be team and individual awards. We are also proud to announce that through this tournament we are looking to support two charitable organizations - Women's Sports Foundation & Sky Cares Foundation - directly involved in promoting youth sports for girls and young women.
