Tough defense defeats Deerfield

New Trier faced an undefeated a very well coached and athletic Deerfield squad in their first game back after spring break, and from the opening draw, controlled the ball and time of possession to get the victory.

The Trevs won 17 of the 22 draws and forced 11 turnovers en route to a 20-1 win. 

Anna Seftenberg led the team with two caused turnovers, while Kennedy Meier led the team in ground balls. The draw team of Meier, Audrey Rudolph and Brooke Ross combined for 11 draws. 

Ten different attackers scored for the Trevians.
