Web Support

We are evolving our website management process to better support timely updates, shared ownership, and long-term sustainability.

What’s Changing?

Moving forward, Communications and Digital Media Manager Lia Fahs, with assistance from Media Specialist Zach Stein, will lead our website efforts in collaboration with Technology and individual departments. Our goal is to establish a more distributed model in which departments have greater ownership of the information on their pages while Communications and Technology provide oversight and support.

  • Lia will oversee website content for consistency and adherence to ADA and District standards. She also will maintain the home page and manage requests for home page placement, new pages, navigation changes, and other major website updates.

  • Designated staff members from each department/area will be trained to make basic updates to their own pages. These may include editing or replacing text and photos, adding a news item, or replacing a document with an updated version. This will allow routine changes to be made more quickly.

What Do I Need to Do?

For anyone who has not been trained, submit website changes through our central support queue: websupport@nths.net

  • IMPORTANT: Please do not send website requests directly to individual web team members. Using the websupport@nths.net queue allows the team to track requests through a ticketing system and helps ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Until department designees have been trained, use websupport@nths.net for routine website updates.

What Happens Next?

The website team is developing training and support resources, and training will be provided in collaboration with the Support Staff Professional Development Committee.

Once training is complete, departments will be able to handle many day-to-day content changes directly. Requests to the web team generally will focus on larger page changes, new pages, navigation, design updates, or changes requiring additional support.
