BRIDGES: Bridges provides academic assistance for students who have experienced extended absences from school due to physical or social/emotional circumstances. Bridges acts as a liaison between the students' teachers, student services and home in order to monitor re-entry to school. Areas of support include: assisting in the development of the re-entry plan, providing direct instruction to students to help them complete past assignments and assessments, and communicating and collaborating with advisers, teachers, social workers and parents regarding the students' needs and progress.
