Trevs fall to rival Loyola and midwest power New Albany

Trevs battle back but lose to Loyola 11-9 and New Albany 13-11.

After going up 3-0, New Trier fell behind Loyola 7-5 at half and battled back but fell short to a very determined and talented Loyola team. 

Ellie Bornhoeft led the team with seven draw controls. Addie Shevitz had three goals and Kennedy Meier, Claire Ratke and Audrey Rudolph each added two. 

New Trier then hosted the Ohio state champions New Albany, and after going up 5-2, the Trevs gave up five late goals against the Eagles to be down 8-6 at half. Unfortunately, New Albany came out and scored three unanswered goals to make it 11-6. The Trevs fought back, down 12-7 scoring four goals to cut the lead to 12-11, but fell short of a comeback.

Meier had six draw controls, and Shevitz had five caused turnovers. Rudolph had four goals to lead the team.
