TRYOUTS

Boys Bowling tryouts will begin Monday, October 28th from 3:45-5:45pm at Classic Bowl in Morton Grove.

There is a four-day tryout period.  Bowlers are evaluated on skill level, coachability, attitude and effort.  We recognize most bowlers entering our program have little experience.  We try to keep as many bowlers as possible.  

We field three team levels (Varsity, JV1 and JV2).  Each team has 6-8 bowlers competing in matches in the Central Suburban League.  At tournaments, we compete with a team of 5-8 (including Regional, Sectional and State).

For Tryouts...

Freshman take a New Trier white shuttle bus located in front of the E-building (off of Happ Road) directly to the lanes.  

Upperclassmen (sophomores, juniors and seniors) will take a yellow bus shuttle from the Winnetka campus directly to the lanes after school.  The yellow bus will be located by the Tennis Courts on Winnetka Ave.

Coaches and returning bowlers will direct you at the alley.  There will be a return bus that stops at the Northfield and Winnetka campus after tryouts. Permit to participate from the Athletic Office needed to tryout.   No experience necessary.   Equipment provided free of charge.
