The New Trier Athletic Department is thrilled to announce the 2025-26 Athletic Hall of Honor Class. They are: Chip Carpenter, Dr. Richard Sherman, Robert Spagnoli, and Dr. Linda Yonke. A special ceremony honoring this year’s inductees will take place on February 6, 2026 in the Winnetka Campus Main Gym between the varsity girls and boys basketball games versus Glenbrook South High School.

The Kinetic Wellness and Athletic Departments are honored to name their office suite after Bonnie Beach and Lee Kennicke. Two pioneers of Title IX, Beach and Kennicke promoted gender equality in sports and were instrumental in transforming the landscape of athletics in Illinois and beyond. Their passion and vision played an influential role in shaping the Athletic and Kinetic Wellness Departments into what they are today.
