Class of 2022

  • Hello, parents of the Class of 2022. Welcome to the NTPA class home page, your complete resource to all things New Trier. Bookmark this page and check back for updated information on events and opportunities throughout the year.

Hopefully, you and your students have settled into the school year. New Trier has some big events coming up before winter break. The annual Winter Music Festival, which dates to 1918, is Sunday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. at Gates Gym. The last basketball games at the gym are Thursday, Dec. 16, at 5:45 p.m., before renovations begin.

We hope to see you at an event. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at ntpa2022@gmail.com.

    Graduation Party

Our seniors have so much to look forward to during this special school year, including the Class of 2022 Graduation Party! A long-standing New Trier tradition, the 2022 Graduation Party will take place on Sunday, May 29, 2022, 10:45 P.M. - 4:00 A.M., at the Northfield campus. This all-night celebration is held at the campus' gyms, which are completely transformed by parent volunteers. The party starts when the graduates arrive in their formal graduation attire and continues as they spend one last terrific night together. There will be a DJ, dancing, and food. Highlights of the event also include amazing raffle prizes and games for all to enjoy.

Every 2022 New Trier graduate is invited to attend this memorable party, and historically, nearly every graduate participates. The 955 members of the Class of 2022 will experience an amazing night! This event is designed by parents to be an opportunity for the graduates to spend their last night together as New Trier students at a safe, supervised venue. The evening would not happen without parent volunteers just like YOU, New Trier's security staff, local police departments, and FUNDING via NTPA dues and parent donations. Please join us and help make it possible to carry on this amazing tradition!

VOLUNTEER FOR THE NIGHT OF THE PARTY. WE NEED YOU! We encourage parents and guardians to volunteer. We will be asking volunteers to blend into the background in order to ensure that the students won't feel your eyes on them. Please consider volunteering during the 1:15 A.M. - 4:00 A.M. slot! It is TRULY a rite of passage for all! Volunteer names will be collected electronically for all committees. Our volunteer coordinator, Saloni Desharnais, will confirm details as the year continues.

CONTRIBUTE TO THE FUNDING OF THE PARTY. As you can imagine, throwing an all-night, safe, and fun party for such a large number of graduates requires the generosity of parents like you to supplement the NTPA budget. Every graduate attends this party for free - there is no entry fee. Our goal is to keep all of the graduates safe and engaged throughout the evening. Your cash contributions are fully tax-deductible.

CONTRIBUTE TO THE RAFFLE. Please consider donating to the all-night raffle as well. Every graduate's name is automatically entered into this phenomenal gift opportunity.
