On behalf of the NTPA, welcome to senior year. The NTPA’s mission is to promote connections, provide communication and present opportunities for parents that support and enhance the New Trier experience.
This page will be maintained with updates and links to serve as one-stop shopping for parents’ needs. Information and conversation also can be found on the New Trier Parents Facebook page. And be on the lookout for emails from the NTPA regarding parent coffees and programs.

Preordered graduation yard signs will be available for pickup in the Indian Hill Metra station parking lot in Winnetka, at Sunset Road and Green Bay Road.

Graduation Party
The 2025 New Trier Grad Party theme is “Shine Bright, You’re A Star!” The special night takes place Sunday, June 1, into Monday, June 2, from 10:45 p.m. to 4 a.m. at the Northfield campus. Click here to view the NT Grad Party Video.
Graduates arrive in their formal commencement attire (jackets are optional for the Grad Party; changing into comfortable shoes is encouraged). The event features a DJ, dancing, food, exciting raffle prizes and games for all to enjoy. After the event, students head to Gillson Beach for a memorable sunrise sendoff that begins at 4:30 a.m. — the last gathering of the Class of 2025!
Parents and students must sign a waiver to attend the party. Log into PowerSchool, click on Forms and submit the Graduation Party Waiver no later than Thursday, May 15 at 4 p.m. NT Powerschool Parent Portal

AMAZON WISH LIST:
Our grads have so much to look forward to at the party. One tradition the kids love — and we use to keep them at the party all night — is the raffle. This year, we are having several raffles throughout the night with big-ticket items at the end of the evening. For big-ticket items, the grads will receive a raffle ticket when they arrive and will choose which item they want to enter their name for. Check out the wish list below.

Senior year is packed full of fun events, and we know it can be hard to keep up with it all. For your convenience, we have included a link to the New Trier 2025 Commencement page. You will want to go through it and take note of dates and requirements.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 1, for graduation! The ceremony will take place at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates (5333 Prairie Stone Parkway), starting at 3 p.m. A commencement website will be up and running in January. In February, students will be asked for the phonetic pronunciation of their names in advisery. An email with complete details, including tickets (eight per student), will be sent before spring break.
Senior Class Service Project
Student leaders of the Class of 2025 have officially begun their Senior Class Service Project: Serve With DigNiTy. Through a partnership with Salute, Inc., and Midwest Veterans Closet, seniors will live by our motto — to commit minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion and lives to the service of humanity — in various ways throughout the year.
