Our 41st Annual Frank Mantooth Jazz Festival at New Trier High School will take place on Saturday, Feb 3, 2024, and will feature the GRAMMY Award Winning Generation Gap Jazz Orchestra presented by Steven Feifke and Bijon Watson. As their name suggests, The Generation Gap Jazz Orchestra features the brilliant compositions and arrangements of Steven Feifke, the dazzling lead trumpet playing of Bijon Watson, and a cast of all-stars from several generations.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 40th Annual Frank Mantooth Jazz Festival Weekend such a memorable event. Over 40 schools participated in our non-competitive festival on Saturday, Feb 4 for a day of performances, inspiration, and learning. Our world-class clinicians shared their experience and wisdom, and Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra capped off the day with their signature New Orleans party spirit. 

On Sunday, Feb 5 we welcomed the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis! A truly unforgettable experience for our students and community, and a reminder of what deep humanity and integrity can sound like.
