  • New Trier High School is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment and addressing incidents that impact our campus climate.

If you are concerned about the immediate OR well-being safety of another student, please do not use the TrevTip line as it is not monitored 24/7. Please call 911 or contact Text-a-tip.

For any concern that requires immediate attention during the school day, please contact the appropriate campus principal by calling 847-784-2200 for the Winnetka Campus or 847-784-7501 for the Northfield Campus. In the case of an emergency, please call 911.

You have the following options to report an incident based on the situation:

    • Speak with an adult: It is always best to work through a situation with an adult
    • Call 911: If you believe the safety of someone is at risk
    • Text-A-Tip: A 24/7 anonymous text-communication system for youth needing immediate mental health assistance for themselves or a friend which is monitored by a live mental health professional. Text to: 844-823-5323 Enter Text: TREVHELP
    • TrevTips: New Trier High School’s anonymous communication to report concerns on days when school is not in session, or after regular school hours, will not be seen until the following school day.

As part of our efforts to assure that all of our students feel safe at school, we have created TrevTips . This online resource is available for anyone who wishes to remain anonymous while reporting a potential safety concern, including (though not limited to) hazing, harassment, bullying, bias, or mental health concerns.

We continue to encourage students who face challenging situations to talk directly with an administrator, adviser chair, or adviser to achieve the best and fastest resolution to any concern. However, we understand that some students may remain hesitant to come forward about issues involving themselves or their friends or classmates. In these cases, they can submit a tip through TrevTips . Tips submitted through the site will be reviewed by qualified personnel on days when school is in session and assigned to the appropriate school personnel for further review. Forms completed outside of school hours or on days when school is not in session will not be seen until the next school day. Any person making a knowingly false report may be subject to disciplinary action.

Forms completed on the site are anonymous, though anyone making a tip can include contact information at the end of the form for further follow-up. All tips will be handled with discretion. Click HERE if you wish to submit a tip.
