The Speech and Debate "Team"
New Trier students compete at a variety of local, regional, and national tournaments. Students test their skills against some of the top speakers in the area and country. Our coaches carefully select developmentally appropriate contests for students to grow in their specific event. Speech and Debate competitors also have the opportunity to compete at a variety of university campuses including the University of Michigan, Emory University, and University of California-Berkeley.
