Congratulations to New Trier Student Council for earning the National Gold Council of Excellence Award for the 2nd year in a row!
The National Council of Excellence Award is sponsored by National Student Council, in partnership with The National Association of Secondary School Principals. This award recognizes and celebrates councils that meet high standards in the areas of student service, leadership, voice, and engagement. To earn this honor, councils must compile evidence of the required criteria and then submit it as a portfolio for consideration. This year, New Trier’s Student Council is one of only six Illinois schools to be recognized at the Gold level!
