    Famous radio personality Sheridan Whiteside turns the Stanley household upside down when he moves in after slipping on some ice, forcing everyone in town to cater to his egotistical demands. Meanwhile, his essential secretary has given her notice after falling in love with a local reporter, and Whiteside must engage every weapon in his considerable arsenal of guile and manipulation to keep her in his employ – including blackmail, deceit, and the intervention of the fading sexpot actress Lorraine Sheldon and the elegant British wit of playwright Beverly Carlton. A three-ring circus of machinations and celebrity appearances ensues.


    Director Ryan Dunn says, “I love staging a classic theatrical show like this. The students get to be funny, but also learn about the time period and the mannerism of the people in that time period. There’s learning, there’s fun, and in the end I think the production we’ve put together is something special. The students are able to stretch themselves with a show that demands they learn different patterns of speech and the etiquette of the time period. I hope families of all ages will enjoy themselves and have a laugh when they come to see the show.
