Private Parochial Annual Meeting

    • The Individuals with Disabilities in Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) specifies that special services be provided by the Local Education Agency (LEA) in which the parochial school resides. New Trier High School District 203 is therefore responsible for the provision of child find and proportionate share services to students attending Christian Heritage Academy, Loyola Academy, North Shore Country Day School, and Regina Dominican High School. The law also states that each year prior to May 31st, the LEA conduct a Timely and Meaningful Consultation to share information with parents regarding the provision of services to parochial and homeschooled children.

This year's Timely Consultation Meeting will be held on
      Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
      New Trier, Northfield Campus
      7 N. Happ Road
      Northfield, IL 60093
      Room A201 A

    • The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district's plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools and homeschools within the district boundaries for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are a parent of a homeschooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of District 203, you are encouraged to attend.
